Gregory J. Goff was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the board of directors of our general partner in December 2010. Mr. Goff joined Andeavor in May 2010 as Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Goff will devote the majority of his time to his roles at Andeavor and he will also spend time, as needed, directly managing our business and affairs. Previously he was Senior Vice President, Commercial with ConocoPhillips, an international, integrated energy company, since 2008. Mr. Goff held various other positions at ConocoPhillips since 1981, including director and Chief Executive Officer of Conoco JET Nordic from 1998 to 2000; chairman and managing director of Conoco Limited, a UK-based refining and marketing affiliate, from 2000 to 2002; president of ConocoPhillips European and Asia Pacific downstream operations from 2002 to 2004; president of ConocoPhillips U.S. Lower 48 and Latin America exploration and production business from 2004 to 2006; and president of ConocoPhillips specialty businesses and business development from 2006 to 2008. Previously, Mr. Goff served on the board of directors of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, a private company, and was a member of the downstream committee of the American Petroleum Institute. Mr. Goff received a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Utah. Steven Sterin was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and a member of the board of directors of our general partner in August 2014, shortly after joining Andeavor as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sterin will devote the majority of his time to his role at Andeavor, and he will also spend time, as needed, devoted to our business and affairs. As CFO, Mr. Sterin guides Andeavor’s financial strategies and leads more than 800 employees in the following areas: controller, corporate analytics, credit, internal audit, investor relations, taxes, treasury, corporate development and information technology. Prior to Andeavor, Mr. Sterin was senior vice president and chief financial officer for Celanese Corporation, a global technology and specialty material company, for seven years. During this time, he was also president of Celanese’s Advanced Fuel Technologies business. Mr. Sterin joined Celanese in 2003 as director of finance and controller for the company’s chemical business and also served as corporate controller and principal accounting officer before being appointed CFO. Before Celanese, Mr. Sterin spent six years with global chemicals company Reichhold, Inc. in a variety of financial positions, including director of tax and treasury in the Netherlands, global treasurer and vice president of finance for one of the company’s divisions in North Carolina. Mr. Sterin holds a Master of Professional Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, which he earned concurrently at the University of Texas at Austin. Kim Rucker is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Andeavor Logistics. Ms. Rucker joined Andeavor in March 2016 as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Ms. Rucker will devote the majority of her time to her role at Andeavor and will also spend time, as needed, devoted to Logistics business and affairs. Ms. Rucker is responsible for Andeavor’s Legal and Corporate Affairs functions, which include corporate governance and securities law; litigation; business ethics and compliance; transactions; intellectual property; external and internal communications; community involvement initiatives and federal, state and local government affairs. She advises the Company’s Board of Directors, officers and senior management on legal, business and policy-related matters. Before joining Andeavor, Ms. Rucker served as Executive Vice President, Corporate and Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Kraft Foods Group, Inc. (now The Kraft-Heinz Company) from 2012 to 2015; Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer at Avon Products, Inc. from 2008 to 2012; and Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Chief Governance Officer for Energy Future Holdings, Corp. (formerly TXU Corp.) from 2004 to 2008. She was also previously Corporate Counsel for Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Partner in the Corporate and Securities group at Sidley Austin LLP. Ms. Rucker holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School, a Master in Public Policy degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from the University of Iowa....
Don Sorensen is Senior Vice President of Andeavor Logistics, accountable for overall operations of Andeavor’s logistics assets in crude, water and gas gathering systems, gas processing plants, terminals, pipelines, trucking and rail transportation. Before this position, Mr. Sorensen led the integration of Andeavor’s acquisition of QEP Field Services. Prior to that he oversaw California Synergy and the Los Angeles Integration and Compliance project, where he was accountable for capture of cross-functional synergy value. Previously, he led Andeavor’s production team for the acquistion and integration of the Southern California Carson refinery, cogen and calciner assets. Mr. Sorensen was also Vice President, Refining for Andeavor’s Anacortes Refinery and Vice President, Refining for the Salt Lake City Refinery. He was Vice President of Wholesale Marketing, Commercial Marketing Business Manager and West Coast Regional Business Manager. He joined Andeavor in 1998 with the acquisition of the Anacortes Refinery where he held various roles in Economics and Scheduling and Process Engineering. Before joining Andeavor he worked for Shell Oil. Fiona Laird is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Andeavor Logistics. Ms. Laird joined Andeavor in April 2018 and leads the Human Resources function for Andeavor and Andeavor Logistics, playing a key role in developing the talent, organization, and culture required for its continued transformation and growth. She has broad expertise in HR strategy development, talent and organization development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, labor relations and large-scale change management gained through complex global roles and numerous business integrations. Ms. Laird advises the Company’s Board of Directors, officers and senior management on leadership development, capability building, total rewards, employee engagement and culture related matters.
Ms. Laird was most recently the Chief Human Resources & Communications officer for Newell Brands, based in Hoboken New Jersey, with responsibility for all aspects of Human Resources and internal and external communications. Previously, Ms. Laird served in many HR, communications and legal positions over a 25-year career at Unilever including Executive Vice President, Human Resources for global Marketing, Research & Development and Communications, based in London; and Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Communications for Unilever’s North and Latin American geographies, based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Before joining Unilever, Ms. Laird practiced law at the New York law firm of Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, Alexander & Ferdon; and in the Cleveland office of Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur LLC.
From 2013-2018, Ms. Laird was a Non-Executive Director of N. Brown Group PLC, a leading United Kingdom clothing, footwear and household goods retailer, where she chaired both the Remuneration and Corporate Social Responsibility Committees.
Ms. Laird holds a double major in English and History from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow Scotland and a JD degree with honors from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. ...
